Common Questions

How do I change a permission (Location, Contacts, Apple Music)?

Open the iOS Settings app, scroll down to CarPlayConnect, and turn each permission on or off.

Why does Spotify open in its own app?

The App does not sign in to Spotify or control its playback. The Spotify option is a shortcut that opens the Spotify app, or its App Store page if Spotify is not installed.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

Your contacts, saved places, favorites, history and preferences stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
